If they can find success in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ "End Times" setting while focusing on melee, 40k focused on ranged will do just fine. A lot of the GP people will switch to Steam eventually, and eventually the community will get settled in. VT2 still going strong after years on Steam. Xbox gamepass will have alot of trial players the first month after that the playerbase is dead.
